Newcomer Entrepreneurs: the Missing Heroes of EU Prosperity

Welcome to "Starting New, Newcomer Entrepreneurship Policy Coalition." This initiative is a collaboration among SINGA Global, Forward·Inc, Startup Migrants, and Migration Policy Group. We’re here to shake up the usual approach to newcomer entrepreneurship across Europe. Our goal? To share insights, support effective policy adaptations, and push for necessary changes that make the European business landscape more inclusive. We believe in empowering newcomer entrepreneurs to help them thrive.

Support for Newcomer Entrepreneurs
We aim to empower newcomer entrepreneurs by providing them with essential knowledge and resources. Our coalition works tirelessly to share best practices, facilitate the transfer of impactful policies, and support the adaptation of these approaches across EU member states. By doing so, we help ensure that entrepreneurs who are new to Europe have the tools and support they need to thrive.
Advocacy for Policy Reform

Recognizing the crucial role that newcomer entrepreneurs play in the European economy, we advocate for significant policy changes. Our goal is to influence policies to create a more welcoming and supportive business environment for migrants, recognizing their potential to contribute to economic dynamism, innovation, and job creation.

Entrepreneurship offers a vital pathway for economic participation and empowerment for newcomers. We believe in facilitating this pathway to help newcomers regain control over their lives and contribute positively to their new communities. Our coalition is dedicated to promoting social cohesion and upholding human dignity by embedding newcomer entrepreneurs into local communities. We focus on fostering social acceptance of migration and creating inclusive policies that are a long-term investment in the welfare of both newcomers and host communities.
